On Jan 4, 2009 the BEST players from the Edmonton Men's Division One teams met for a fun All Stars game! The "stars" were chosen from amount the 10 teams of Div 1A (red team) and from the 10 teams of Div 1B (blue team). This was a beautiful game to watch because of the high level of play. With players of this calibre it was apparent that there was mutual respect and confidence resulting in exceptional "team" play even though players were drawn from many different teams. Most of the players knew each other... and not being a regular season game they had a lot of fun. Blue team had a very good first half, and the Red team had a strong comeback. The game finished as a 3-3 tie... and good feelings.
